Job Description

Summary:

In this position, you will be responsible for driving the overall talent strategy by using best practices in attracting and recruiting talent to Accuray. You will partner directly with leaders and managers to identify qualified candidates and move them through the recruitment process, with a focus on positive candidate experience and effective employer branding. This role will be based out of our Madison, Wisconsin office but we are open to remote, hybrid, or onsite candidates.

A successful candidate will be someone who can create and drive strong sourcing strategies, maintain proactive candidate outreach, and is comfortable working on a team that is focused on commitment, execution, and accountability. If this sounds like you, let's chat!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to understand and define roles, execute recruitment strategies, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Manage full cycle recruitment initiatives, including initial sourcing strategies and closing candidates for opportunities at Accuray.
  • Attract top talent and develop a strong, diverse, and qualified candidate pool, for current and future openings.
  • Act as the face of Accuray to external candidates, ensuring that our brand is represented appropriately and ensuring a superior candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Complete introductory phone screens, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Understanding of recruitment best practices and methodologies. Demonstrated knowledge of sourcing and networking.
  • Manage open job requisitions, update and manage ATS, and track recruitment metrics.
  • Plan for and implement recruiting and pipelining goals for short-term and long-term business success.
  • Implement and support external partnerships that support diverse candidate pipeline.


Qualifications:

a. Required:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of previous full-cycle corporate recruitment experience
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing and negotiating skills
  • Ability to influence and guide managers to leverage best practices in hiring
  • Self-motivated with excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to juggle multiple recruitments and engagements across different time zones
  • Effective planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with key stakeholders, external vendors, and customers while preserving confidential information
  • Experience with recruitment sourcing tools, including LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems; Workday preferred
  • Passion for creative sourcing, hiring, and delivering phenomenal candidate experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration


b. Preferred or Desired:
  • Experience consulting with hiring managers to assist them with scoping the job, create/update job descriptions, determine recruitment strategy and manage compensation discussion
  • Experience working within a medical device or manufacturing industry would be nice to have
