What You Will Contribute:

The Talent Coordinator is an integral role with a variety of responsibilities enabling the employee experience at Badger Meter. As an essential player on the team, you will impact how we onboard new hires, deliver training, help employees stay informed about the business, and recognize service achievements of our most precious resource - the employees of Badger Meter.

Successful individuals in this role thrive when working with a variety of duties and must have a mindset dedicated to delivering the best employee experience. This position uses a variety of systems and as such, efficiently providing high quality deliverables through a strong system-orientation is a must.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • New Hire Onboarding: Supports candidates from offer acceptance through each step of the new hire process; this includes tasks such as coordinating pre-employment items, setting up new employees in our HRIS system (Workday), and supporting first day orientation day activities.
  • Learning Administration: Responsible for uploading course content, assigning training to learners, and tracking completion in the learning management system (LMS). Actively supports implementation and follow up of learner completion for compliance training programs. Must ensure accurate training records are maintained.
  • Employee Communications: Coordinates the planning and production of a variety of employee communications tools and channels, including print, digital, social media, and video. Creates and maintains content on the Badger Meter intranet site (OneDrop).
  • Programs & Events: Coordinate logistics for programs and events to ensure programs are well planned and successful. This includes a variety of tasks for events such as job fairs, training events, employee programs, etc.
  • Employee Recognition: Works with our service award vendor to recognize employee service milestones. Oversees the program execution and delivery of award certificates and gifts. Supports communication channels on recognition topics.
  • Administrative Support: Examples include job postings, invoice/purchase order process, and occasional candidate interview scheduling and travel arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative and/or program coordination support across a wide range of responsibilities
  • Experience using systems, such as applicant tracking, intranet platforms, learning management systems, HRIS, or related
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
