Overview

The Talent Development Analyst is responsible for supporting talent development programs, managing budgets, and optimizing communication efforts. In addition, this role is responsible for managing and coordinating the analytic efforts of the talent development function. This position requires an analytical mindset, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple projects at once. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and has an in-depth understanding of talent development.

Primary Responsibilities

  • First line of talent analytic support to Talent Development team for Learning Management System (LMS), training, leadership development needs and other related specialized inquiries.
  • Use a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives as well as maintaining effective programs for talent development.
  • Generate regular reports on talent development metrics, program effectiveness, and feedback to assess the impact of initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
  • Work closely with HRIS, Talent Management, and other analysts to collect and coordinate data for talent development and translate the data into insights through data analysis to support the talent development team's current and future needs.
  • Oversee and maintain tasks and projects on project management software (Monday.com), ensuring all content are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote talent development programs through various channels, including social media and internal platforms.
  • Coordinate the meeting room booking system and be responsible for ensuring all meeting room enquiries are responded to and dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Manage and monitor the talent development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness of initiatives, review and process invoices in a timely manner.
  • Use business and talent development knowledge to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the business partners and clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in supporting organization-wide talent development programs including training, coaching, data analytics and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated competence of Microsoft Office, including proficiency with navigating across Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and evaluate data and to develop logical conclusions.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, learning technologies and trends in the talent development field.
  • Ability to gather and present data in a professional manner, ability to research and synthesize from diverse sources.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to productively work under tight time deadlines.
  • Travel 10%

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
