  • Anticipates, creates, defines, and implements Americas Consulting strategy and for resource deployment & business unit success today.
  • Articulates a vision for innovative & leading concepts to drive practitioner growth, job satisfaction, and experience for the future.
  • Works closely with Go to Market and Offering leaders to assign resources with proper skills and interest.
  • Considers priorities of the Americas Consulting and the broader DXC when staffing resources (cost implications, utilization, etc.) on projects.
  • Works closely with Consulting leaders and external business partners to staff, negotiate rates and complete necessary paperwork to engage.
  • Understand the skill set and develop trajectory of available resources within assigned practice.
  • Leads projects at the discretion of management.
  • Recognizes and articulates complex problems related to resource deployment objectives. Capable of implementing solutions for the problems.
  • Seen as an SME in resource deployment across DXC and our ISV partners. Develops a strong network within the company and externally that enhance staffing capabilities and practitioner opportunities.
  • Shows discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Works constructively and collaboratively with key DXC functions including, for example, HR, recruiting, training, and finance.
  • Participates in practice decision-making. Produces simple reports on current and projected status for practice and DXC executive.
  • Presents to large size groups of key decision makers at the executive level; develops and communicates vision and purpose, encourages contribution and support from others. Contributes to proposal orals and national or regional events.
  • Manages the personnel activities (hires, trains, evaluates, motivates, rewards, disciplines, etc.) of the practice to facilitate operations and retention of key personnel.
  • Prepares and recommends operating and personnel budgets for approval. Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.

  • Clear facility collaborating with a range of roles include delivery, sales, and administrative practitioners as well as senior team members and executives.

  • Effective influencing without formal authority
  • Capable of training tooling / processes related to relevant responsibilities
  • Understanding of what good looks like: staffing procedures, consultant development, consulting management, talent strategy
  • Operational experience
  • Understands working with business partners
  • Basic productivity: Outlook, Excel, and Word. Power BI, Trello, Jira, and Mural / Miroa nice skill to have.
