Strategy Consulting Team is currently recruiting for a Talent Development Coordinator to support the United States Army Special Operation Command (USASOC). This opportunity is contingent upon award.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble and lead ADHOC staff actions that require fusion of multiple staff directorates within USASOC and its subordinate commands.
- Navigate and query soldiers’ information from HQDA Personnel Systems, such as, the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A), or any other personnel systems that may be developed later.
- Obtain documents relevant to USASOC leader development programs. These documents include Soldier Talent Profiles (STPs), readiness statistics, and any other Human Resources actions.
- Compile documents into digital and hard copy portfolios to fuel training mechanisms, such as 360 Survey Assessments, Operational Psychologist Behavioral Interviews, and Leader Panel Engagements.
- Manage and document Programs of Instruction for all leader development programs for which the USASOC staff is the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR).
- Manage funding lines for all talent development initiatives (both piloted and official) for which USASOC is the OPR.
- Create a digital interface for all surveys required to fuel leader development programs.
- Learn and operate USASOC provided digital systems (i.e., Survey Monkey) to adequately develop and distribute surveys to query the force about leadership trends and experiences.
- Manage USASOC approved POAM for all annual Talent Development efforts for which USASOC is the OPR and track deadlines and assist HPW Directorate and Division Leads in facilitating support for each exercise.
- Conduct or direct attached personnel to accomplish all required backside support of leader development training and programs.
- Coordinate all logistical elements of Talent Development Programs for which USASOC is the OPR.
- Update leadership, support staff, and participants of all talent development efforts for which USASOC is the OPR daily.
- Teach material or guide small group discussions during execution of talent development programs.
- Compile trend reports and, when necessary, communicate data and trends to HPW leadership, as well as USASOC, CSC, CSU leadership.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s or bachelor’s that can be obtained within the first six months of employment.
- Experience with DOD and HQDA Personnel Management Systems.
- Familiarity with the HQDA Talent Management Strategy.
- Experience working at the Army G-Staff Level
- Experience working in Special Operations, Preferably Army Special Operations (ARSOF).
- Experience managing a budget.
- Experience with the DOD acquisitions process, primarily tracking government credit card processes
- Experience with Survey Development and Execution.
- Experience with Talent Development Programs, including set up, scheduling, and leading.
- Experience monitoring the inventory of psychological testing and evaluations used in the Army and Private Industry.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment working with military members
- Experience leading small groups.
- Experience in Project Management
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience communicating at the strategic level.
- Experience with HQDA Tasking Process
