Overview
The Talent Development Program Manager works directly with the Directors of Talent Development to design, develop, and implement programs that build world-class capabilities across the organization. This position will apply instructional design principles with a focus on creating innovative content and driving the adoption of programs such as employee onboarding, rotational programs, internships, and professional development. This position will also partner with the HR Business Partners on programs that build engagement at all levels, increases individual and organizational capability, and drives business growth.
Primary Responsibilities
• Consult, coach, train, and partner with facilitators to ensure effective and high-quality execution of Talent Development strategies; actively collaborate with other members of HR and business leaders on information requests and best practice sharing.• Own the development, creation, and train-the-trainer delivery of assigned training programs via eLearning, instructor led workshops, and remote workshops (e.g., video, virtual reality, artificial intelligence) within Southern Glazer's learning platform, SGU; create innovative company-wide development programs that result in positive behavior change towards employee development.• Develop, refresh, publish, and distribute support and implementation materials/collateral for assigned Talent Development programs; develop and organize training materials, including manuals, course materials, guides, handouts, and visual aids. • Apply instructional design methods to manage and enhance assigned Talent Development processes, programs, and materials.• Partner with People Analytics to develop and leverage tools, processes, analytics, and dashboards to analyze/report on and support Talent Development programs, including the effectiveness, ROI (I.e., modes of training delivery, facilitator effectiveness), and recommendations for improvement of programs; ensure continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization of training costs and impact.• Research and keep up to date on external trends, innovations, and best practices in the Talent Development arena to ensure the quality of programs.• Serve as Talent Development subject matter expert to provide research, thought leadership, best practices, trends, and/or analytics.• Arrange for ongoing job-related training and professional development courses for SGWS employees.• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, strongly preferred.• Demonstrates knowledge and application of financial, business, and project management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and budgeting.• Demonstrates knowledge and application of instructional design principles and methods for curriculum and training design, facilitation of training activities, implementing talent development processes and programs, adult learning theory, training material delivery techniques, and measurement of training effectiveness and ROI.• Demonstrates effective leadership skills in the form of coaching and offering feedback/direction; monitors performance of oneself and directly addresses conflicts and problems and holds others accountable.• Ability to build, cultivate, and maintain effective working relationships in a highly matrixed organization with a variety of situations, individuals, and groups; builds trust and buy-in with internal and external stakeholders and can bring others together to reconcile differences and reach mutually agreed-upon solutions to implement change.• Manages time and multiple projects effectively; sets clearly defined objectives and manages resources appropriately to accomplish tasks and meet project objectives; is careful and thorough in completing work tasks, prioritizes effectively, and follows through on commitments.• Demonstrates excellent communication skills; effectively cascades information to all relevant stakeholders and business functions within the appropriate time frame and setting.• Demonstrates creative thinking skills in the form of new and original ideas and alternative ways of thinking; possesses an innovative mindset to continuously improve programs and processes.• Demonstrates integrity by being honest and consistently adhering to the moral and ethical standards set by Southern Glazer's values, policies, and procedures; maintains discretion when working with sensitive/confidential subject matter such as employee data. • Committed to professionalism (i.e., professional greetings, proper telephone etiquette, common courtesy, professional attitude, appearance), demonstrates composure and objectivity even in high-stress situations or when receiving constructive feedback. • Makes concerted effort to serve as an advocate for diversity and inclusion, is sensitive to and respectful of varying cultural values and norms; is open, flexible, and patient when dealing with new and diverse perspectives and elevates diverse perspectives to benefit the organization.• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, software applications, HR technology, and learning management systems (LMS) capabilities/functionalities.• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Physical Demands
- Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
- Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping.
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
