Talent Development Specialist

The Talent Development Specialist will plan, organize, design, and curate learning and development programs in connection with business-aligned initiatives, management and leadership development, general employee skills and development and new employee orientation.  Consulting with key stakeholders to understand current and future business challenges to recommend high impact talent and leadership development solutions.  They will establish a high-performance culture throughout the organization.  Facilitating instructor-led training, virtual online, webinars, blended and guided learning journey sessions.  They will also collaborate with team members to ensure effectiveness in all phases of learning and development program lifecycle.  The Talent Development Specialist will develop and document training processes or policies.  Tracking and analyzing development programs by examining learner’s satisfaction levels, proficiencies, and job performance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate employee program sessions including New Employee Orientation and general employee skill development.
• Facilitate management and leadership development training sessions.
• Conduct needs analysis.
• Create and implement communication and marketing for courses and programs.
• Coordinate scheduling for employee and leadership development programs.
• Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.
• Use benchmarking and other investigatory processes to identify and implement best practices.

This is a hybrid role based out of Springfield, IL

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience of 2-3 years
• Previous experience with organizational training preferred
