POSITION SUMMARY: The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for providing company-wide support for the implementation and execution of training programs as well as the support of strategic development initiatives. This individual will have the ability to support multiple ongoing programs and initiatives, and proactively determine solutions to optimize learning environments. This individual will have the ability to build strong and supportive relationships across the enterprise.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports and monitors program participants throughout and after their training experience.
- Facilitates trainings for program participants.
- Equips leaders to effectively support and manage program participants.
- Supports various training projects, communicating with employees and managers, consultants, and community partners.
- Inputs and maintains employee specific training activity in company Learning Management System, including report generation.
- Maintains training plans, curriculum, and training calendar.
- Acts as a point of contact for attendees and their leaders.
- Coordinates set-up and clean-up of audio visual, computer training, conference calls, video conferencing; provides technical/facilitation assistance as needed.
- Assists in development of training communication materials.
- Tracks and orders program supplies.
- Creates and manages departmental websites and online communications, building pages, editing content, and designing layout.
- Communicates with training participants and facilitators, including coordinating materials.
- Develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training and program management activities (cost, ROI, participation, etc.) and regularly monitors and reports results to management.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Adaptability - utilizes a flexible approach to manage competing priorities and stakeholders and stays focused and organized in a fast-paced work environment.
- Time management and prioritization skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner.
- Communication skills (presentation, verbal, written, etc.); can effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally.
- Ability to analyze data from various reports, draw conclusions and make recommendations concerning the effectiveness of solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience in a human resources, learning, education, or talent role.
- Prior involvement in organizing large events and coordinating learning programs.
