Guild is hiring a Specialist to join the Talent Development team in their quest to unlock potential for each of its employees. In particular, we are looking for someone committed to developing, implementing, facilitating, and enhancing our learning programs. The Talent Development Specialist will be an integral part of the Talent team in delivering scalable, high-quality, relevant solutions.
This cross-functional role will involve partnering with stakeholders across the business and within the People team to ensure we are delivering and optimizing quality talent development programs.
The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running by confidently owning our digital learning tools and learning experiences for the Talent team.
Responsibilities:As Talent Development Specialist you will be responsible for:
Implementation and coordination
- Be a subject matter authority on learning platforms for program and content administration – LMS (Learning 360), LinkedIn Learning, Learning Lab, Genially
- Roll out LinkedIn Learning organization-wide including a launch plan with socialization and engagement tactics.
- Stay up to date with product updates and collaborate with internal partners to ensure they can be implemented successfully and socialize to the broader organization as appropriate.
Design and execution
- Build and manage programs using LinkedIn Learning and 360Learning (LMS)
- Design and implement a communication plan to socialize and drive continued engagement within the LMS in piloting new and different ways to engage with learners (i.e. gamification).
- Conduct needs analysis and seek continuous feedback with teams across the organization to curate learning paths via LinkedIn Learning or Genially to build skills development throughout Guild.
- Build strong relationships throughout Guild to understand priorities/OKRs and partner with how learning can be embedded to help the team achieve their goals.
- Create and maintain learning communications via internal tools and an annual learning calendar with themed learning months aligned to happenings in the organization.
- Facilitate learning programs and workshops through a variety of training methods, mediums, and formats to develop highly functioning employees and leaders throughout the organization and promote scalability.
Administration
- Own the vendor relationship with LinkedIn, 360Learning, Genially, including quarterly reviews, ongoing touch bases and best practices.
- Collaborate within the Talent and People team, with partners and subject-matter experts internally and externally to ensure programs are meeting strategic, organizational, and learning needs.
- Provide support for registration and enrollment and general administrative assistance for learning programs
- Handle administrative aspects of the digital learning tools and troubleshoot issues with vendors and internal partners as needed.
- Be open to leaning into other workstreams on the Talent Development team when additional support is needed.
You are a strong fit for the role if you have:
- 2-3 years of experience in an L&D, training or related role within the talent development space
- Previous experience with planning, crafting, implementing and being responsible for training programs and digital learning tools for an organization with measured success
- Previous experience rolling out and/or managing an LMS system.
- Demonstrated ability to design clear and aesthetically engaging learning content and resources using digital tools
- Ability to analyze learning programs, processes and procedures to provide recommendations and develop curriculum on topic
- Experience in effective facilitation and communication of learning content with both in-person and virtual teams is a plus
- A passion for providing high quality customer service to internal and external partners and an ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally in an organization Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and opposing priorities.
- Experience owning a full project from beginning concept stages to design, delivery, execution and keeping partners informed throughout.
- Create and execute on strategic plans to ensure the ongoing success of our learning programs in a constantly evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Self-motivated, assertive, detailed, and dependable with a collaborative team approach.
