Job Description
The Talent Management Lead Analyst works closely with business and HR Partners to successfully deploy talent management and organizational effectiveness processes and solutions. This role supports Belk's business priorities and talent strategies by building performance and talent management programs and processes. In addition, the Talent Management Lead will collect and coordinate aggregate data for the talent pipeline and translate the findings into insights and action plans focused on impacting results and associate experience. This role reports to the Senior Director, Learning and Talent.
Job Functions
- Deliver talent planning and performance management processes; including preparation of business-specific materials, coordination of timelines/deadlines, data analysis and reporting.
- Use outcomes of talent management processes to proactively address business-specific talent and learning needs and develop action plans to support.
- Partner with business to deliver team effectiveness activities/sessions as needed.
- For large initiatives, partner with business to identify associate impacts and create a change management strategy, including high-level communication plan, training needs, leadership engagement.
- Offer a high level of subject matter expertise and stay engaged in industry talent/performance management themes.
- Support delivery of associate engagement /pulse/sentiment survey(s) and reporting to understand strengths and opportunities in the work environment.
- Work with HRBP and business to identify key actions that drive performance improvement.
- Serve as initial point of contact within the COE for learning needs within the business.
- Engage L&D team to transition deeper-dive analysis and design and delivery of solutions.
- Engage COE in the design of business-specific solutions.
- Other assignments and focuses as needed.
- Work Status: Remote with Quarterly travel to Home Office.
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of HR/Talent Management experience (talent planning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and change management).
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Industrial Psychology/Psychology
- Human Resources
- Organizational Leadership/Leadership
Knowledge / Skills Requirements:
- Highly creative and flexible approach to managing complex projects that cut across multiple business units.
- Demonstrates strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and critically, with a track record of success in partnering with business leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently and develop in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate across teams and upward to leadership.
