As a Talent Management Leader, you will focus on the assessment, design and execution of innovative solutions to build the Alcon infrastructure through diverse talent, teams and by strengthening organizational effectiveness to deliver on customer and patient outcomes, collaborate with executive leaders and HR community to design and deliver organizational effectiveness initiatives to deliver on Alcon's business strategy including org design, change management, team effectiveness, succession planning, executive coaching, etc.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Support the development and implementation of the talent management philosophy, processes and programs necessary to create a ready and capable leadership pipeline; succession planning, high potential identification, talent reviews and other approaches to closing talent gaps.
  • Lead end-to-end design, implementation, & continuous improvement of global talent management processes (e.g. performance management, talent and succession planning, leadership development assessments).
  • Develop and implement a strategy to build a pipeline of early career talent linked to current and future capability needs to deliver on the Alcon strategy.
  • Ensure the successful integration of Diversity & Inclusion strategies into talent programs and processes.
  • Understand and use internal talent insights and industry talent market trends to build talent and organization capability.

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs;Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 10 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Work hours: Standard, Monday - Friday
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 15%
  • Relocation assistance: Yes
  • Sponsorship available: No

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great communicator who works best in a collaborative environment and builds mutual trust and credibility at all levels of an organization. Strong ability to engage and connect successfully with audiences at all levels across the organization.
