About the team and RoleÂ
Ultimately, everything good and everything bad that Skillz will achieve as a business will be a function of the people we hire and the systems by which we organize them. As the Lead for our Talent Operations function you create and oversee all of our recruiting processes and recruiting reporting, thereby playing an instrumental role in the quality and speed of our staffing operation. Reporting directly to the company’s Chief Strategy Officer, the processes and playbook that you develop and implement will determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team at Skillz.
What you'll do:
Create and uphold a robust departmental reporting system to offer executive-level visibility and support performance management across roles, recruiters, and hiring managers.
Develop standardized interviews and scoring rubrics, while also building out comprehensive interview training and certification procedures.
Act as the company’s go-to expert on all talent acquisition tools and systems, driving tangible weekly enhancements to the company's hiring infrastructure.
Reduce overall time to hire through improved process development and implementation.
Maintain a high bar when upholding all hiring processes. Proactively identify roadblocks and ensure prompt resolutions.
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of talent/HR experience with 2+ years of experience in talent operations.
Project and/or program management experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to independently own multiple projects at once.
Track record achieving notable advancements through internal promotions and career progression.
Demonstrated success in building company-wide TA reporting.
Expertise with Greenhouse strongly preferred.
