About the Role
Rocket Travel is looking for a Talent & Organizational Development Manager. As an integral member of the People Team, this role will support the company’s aspirations to develop and retain exceptional team members who are deeply committed to our values. Reporting to the VP of People Operations, the role will manage talent development and engagement initiatives across the organization and make meaningful contributions to the design, execution, and promotion of our learning and development and DEI programs to nurture the careers of our team members.

- Total Compensation is based on experience - Salary: $100k - $135k, Bonus: 20% - 25%

- Create a comprehensive roadmap which integrates employee learning, leadership development, diversity and talent initiatives enhancing organizational culture, tied to our strategic business priorities, and positioning Rocket Travel by Agoda (RTA) for future success.
- Play a critical role championing a culture of inclusion, learning, engagement and employee empowerment across the company.
- Work closely with the People Ops Business Partners, Agoda’s Talent team, and business leaders to deliver innovative and sustainable talent management solutions, including launching a global mentoring program, career pathing, job shadowing opportunities, the establishment of individual development plans, and succession planning
- Manage the development and delivery of RTA’s learning and leadership development programs including analyzing learning needs, developing learning approaches and curricula
- Determine where to supplement Agoda’s global L&D offerings, and proposing which RTA learning solutions should be designed in-house or in conjunction with an external vendor/partner, and which format (in-person, virtual, and on-demand) is appropriate for the learning needs
- Partner with Agoda’s Talent team to create compelling e-learning solutions, curate learning resources, and utilize the internal Learning Management System (LMS) as a means of distribution
- Ensure talent initiatives are progressive, relevant, and accessible to all team members across geographies
- Assess and measure the success of programs. Share learnings with stakeholders and leadership to continue to improve effectiveness
- Ensure utilization and timely completion of global Booking Holdings Inc. and Agoda leadership and compliance programsÂ
- Own the execution of various employee surveys (e.g., engagement, pulse, program evaluations). Develop employee communications to drive survey participation, analyze results, produce clear and concise presentations, and drive action planningÂ
- Identify, develop, and execute engagement and culture enhancement activities, tools, processes to reinforce RTA’s values
- Serve as a key accelerator in the development of our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) efforts, ensuring a DEI lens in everyday talent management and practices.
- Partner with RTA’s DEI employee group and the People Ops team to execute and communicate diversity initiatives, programs and events
About you:
- You bring your valuable experience from past organizations. You have 7+ years working in Learning and Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development or Organizational Effectiveness functionsÂ
- You regularly utilize adult learning best practices. You have experience designing, implementing and leading training workshops, working with blended learning approaches (face-to-face, virtual and on-demand, etc.)
- You are a natural collaborator and feel comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders across an organization. You’ve effectively worked with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams
- You adjust your communication style to meet the needs of your audience. You have strong presentation, facilitation, and consultative skills
- You are excited to teach and grow others. You have demonstrated strong mentoring and coaching skills
- You leverage a global mindset and understand cultural nuances. You have managed projects with global reach, and are able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
- You are passionate about continuous improvement. You take the initiative to look for opportunities to drive incremental change in processes and programs
- You have the ability to learn and transition to multiple platforms with ease. Ideally with a strong aptitude in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Workday, and LMS management.Â
