The Talent Acquisition team is a critical partner to the business, acting as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and executives on a variety of talent issues. Helping our BUs to scale with our growing business will be essential to this role and to the success of the broader company.

Twilio is seeking an Executive Talent Acquisition Partner who will be the main staffing lead for an entire business unit to help the business identify, attract and hire top quality executives that will meaningfully drive positive business outcomes. To do this, you must be passionate and experienced with delivering executive search mandates within a fast-paced environment.  In addition to partnering closely with the executives with hiring needs in your aligned business unit, you will partner with executives from across our organization, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources functions to deliver the world’s best talent that Twilio needs to continue building for our customers. You will leverage Twilio’s incredible company culture and deep commitment to its employees to attract the best talent in the world to join Twilio! You are comfortable with simultaneously managing multiple searches across functions, and supporting multiple leaders to attract and hire top, diverse talent. You also understand the importance of providing an exceptional candidate and client experience.


Responsibilities

The role will be part of Twilio's Global Executive Recruiting team, working on VP and SVP level hiring across the organization. 

  • Act as the Executive Staffing Lead for all VP+ hiring within your aligned business unit. This includes running Executive Searches end-to-end, meeting with HRBP to proactively identify talent needs, ensure broader Executive Recruiting team delivers as needed to your aligned business unit and deliver exceptional client experience to the VP+ hiring population
  • Take the lead on partnering with business leaders to build a hiring and diversity strategy
  • Ensure a flawless candidate experience and always maintain operational excellence
  • Partner with business leaders to develop, prioritize, and deliver on comprehensive workforce plans and hiring strategies
  • Whether it’s finding a candidate’s dream job or counseling a leader on the best course of action, seek to understand the customer’s perspective and needs and place those needs first
  • Build strong relationships across all functions and customers (FP&A, HR, Total Rewards, and with candidates) that will create great outcomes
  • Proactively identify and solve problems that hinder optimal search service delivery
  • Mentor and grow others within Talent Acquisition
Qualifications 
  • Experience of being a Talent Partner within a fast-paced and complex technology business. 10+ years demonstrated success in Executive level recruiting: preferably for successful SaaS companies, or major players in the technology industry
  • Outstanding client management skills; experience of owning relationships at the executive level - ability to understand the need, influence and act as a trusted partner. Displays strong communication skills to stakeholders in a proactive and efficient manner
  • Subject matter expertise in one of the following: GTM, G&A or Technical recruiting at the Executive level. Must have a familiarity with the competitor landscape, strong network among executives and awareness of market trends
  • Relationship management/partnership skills with focus on HR business partners, talent management, total rewards, line executives, and affiliated functions
  • In-depth understanding of the recruiting lifecycle; from planning, through engagement, selection and onboarding
  • Comfortable with simultaneously managing multiple searches
  • Familiarity with Executive Search methodology, and ideally a tenure in an Executive Search firm
  • Has a data driven mindset and understand the importance of operational excellence

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $132,320.00-$165,400.00
  • Based in New York, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $155,600.00-$194,500.00
  • This role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
