As a Talent Program Partner in the Global Talent department at J.R. Simplot Company, you will be an intricate part of a fast-paced, future-oriented team at one of the nation's largest privately held food and agribusiness companies. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to have a hand in building early career and internship recruiting strategies while also taking part in the day-to-day execution of branding and recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary recruiting point of contact with the early career and internship program manager and business units' leadership teams.
  • Implement campus recruiting strategies to fill early career full-time and summer internship positions.
  • Challenge current recruiting processes, bringing innovative ideas, with a particular focus on improving candidate experience & assisting in building relationships with our target schools and trade/community-based partner organizations.
  • Help to coordinate on-campus events and strategies.
  • Actively engage internal business unit colleagues to represent Simplot on campuses, guiding these individuals on established recruiting procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain a constant and steady focus on the college recruiting landscape and share intelligence with the Global Talent Acquisition team.
  • Assist in the execution of global brand and social media marketing strategies as it relates to Talent and Early Careers
  • Utilize data and analytics to track program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to optimize global early career talent programs.

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience as an Internship/University Relations Recruiter
  • 1 or more years of experience focused on developing and implementing early career and recruiting strategies.
  • Desired experience with global recruitment
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with business unit stakeholders, college career services contacts, and trade / community-based organizations.
  • Proven recruiting strategy development and execution experience.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to multitask at a high level.
  • Successful application of a variety of recruitment, attraction, selection tools, and methodologies
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Ability to travel 25-50%, particularly during high-peak university campus recruiting season
    • Travel will be required during peak recruiting seasons Fall and Spring
    • This position is open to being remote in location

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

in Human Resources, Communications or related field
