Our groundbreaking technology enables healthcare providers to test for a suspected seizure and then deliver treatments within minutes. We also received the first-ever FDA 510(k) clearance for a digital seizure detection algorithm.

Position Overview

The Talent Recruiter will strategically partner with hiring managers, People Business Partner, and Technology/Sales Leaders to understand the organization's talent needs and work collaboratively to provide recruiting solutions for: software development, product and sales roles. The Talent Recruiter creatively sources candidates from multiple channels, including research, social media, networking, university alumni career centers, etc., while coordinating interviews, offers, and implementing programs that attract a diverse talent pool. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing all phases of candidate interviews, including phone interviews, debriefing meetings, and online interviews.  This role is remote with occasional travel to our office in Sunnyvale, CA.  This role reports directly to the Principal Recruiter. We are specifically looking for applicants in the Eastern or Central Time Zones. 

 What You’ll Do
  • Partner with our technology & sales hiring managers to understand their unique hiring needs and goals from intake meetings, scheduling, and offers through onboarding and training on interviewing best practices and techniques.
  • Create a diverse pipeline of candidates by using innovative sourcing channels for current and future requirements by demonstrating innovation and outside-the-box thinking.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through high-touch, personalized outreach and engagement.
  • Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification.
  • Manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment by partnering with hiring teams to develop and implement effective sourcing, assessment, and closing processes. 
  • Maintain an understanding of best recruiting practices and monitor industry trends
  • Write engaging, attractive and thoughtful job descriptions
  • Support other recruiters and the Principal Recruiter as needed 
  • Manage and produce data reports in our systems (Greenhouse & TalentWall) 
  • Meet all hiring goals including but not limited to: time to hire, applicant to offer ratios and timelines
  • Performs other related duties as assigned which will include open roles outside of the sales and technology hiring
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners 
  • Implement and fine-tune recruitment processes that are aligned with our mission to deliver the best product and service to its customers. Propose ideas and strategies related to recruitment to contribute to the long-term growth of the company.
  • Conduct market research and on-going relationship management to build and maintain a network of potential candidates; conduct in-depth interviews of candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences by maintaining a low interview-to-offer ratio.

 What You’ll Need
  • 5-7+ years of recruiting experience, startup experience preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field, preferred
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates
  • Work hard, have fun, and excel in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • A strong preference for applicants with Medical Device experience
  • Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
  • Focus on results, ability to drive the recruiting process and provide responsive follow-up to both candidates and hiring teams
