Position Overview:
The Talent Rewards Analyst will be responsible for administering benefits policies and programs, preparing talent rewards analysis for People Operations, Management, and the Executive teams as needed. The analyst will also be responsible for the administration of the company’s health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and pre-tax benefits.
The individual must be able to work with employees at all job levels to educate them on benefits available and how to choose the best ones for their situation. This individual will be assisting with LOA administration as needed along with Workers’ Comp, ADA interactive process, and Education Assistance Program administration.Â
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Benefits
- Assist with the administration, communication, and compliance of Outset’s benefits programs, including financial wellbeing WellCents program, HSA, Education Assistance, and health & welfare group plans.
- Coordinate the distribution of mass communications to employees, including creating and editing content and liaising with external benefits partners and broker.
- Manage the funding of contributions to HSA, Student Loan Repayment, Tuition Reimbursement, FSA, DCFSA, and Commuter from Outset Payroll to the applicable vendors, including reviewing the funding request submitted by employees in the benefits systems.
- Assist with ACA plan compliance and annual reporting.
- Assist with aspects of annual open enrollment and related projects.
- Review and reconcile medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability invoices along with COBRA remittance.
- Updating payroll and/or vendor systems as needed for benefits enrollments and terminations; ensuring carrier connection files are always working properly.
- Executes and audits various reports from ADP and vendor databases to ensure accuracy of all data.
- Expertly explain employee benefits by conducting meetings; preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations; responding to requests.
- Maintains employee confidence by keeping benefit information confidential.
- Review and approves new hire, work and life event benefits enrollments. Prepares EOI report for underwriting approval and updates ADP timely upon approval or denial.
- Regularly refresh benefits portal content including articles about Outset’s benefits offerings, initiating mobile app reminders about upcoming wellbeing workshops and benefits education sessions, and ensuring the digital benefits brochure is up to date for employees and candidates.
- Compensation
- Assist with monthly equity grant process for comp committee review and approval of options and RSUs to new hires, recently promoted employees, and special grants.
- Provide support as needed with Performance Management system activities including the feedback and review cycle tools.
- Create and route People Action Notices (PANs) for formal approval of employment detail changes such as promotions, title changes, & other mobility.
- Assist with various research projects and/or special projects.
Required Qualifications:
- S. degree in human resources, finance, business management, or other equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a fast-paced people operations discipline such as talent acquisition, benefits administration, or talent rewards analytics
- Aptitude to quickly learn and administer talent rewards programs and benefits such as financial wellbeing, Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and other Voluntary Benefits.
- Ability to analyze data and make inferences about data figures.
- Proven problem-solving skills to help determine why an issue is happening and how to resolve that issue.
- Ability to identify any gaps in benefits programs and policies and come up with solutions, implement those solutions, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to details.
