Job Description
SUMMARY: Develop and execute candidate sourcing strategies that will proactively identify and attract passive candidates that are the 'best of the best' in the industry. The Talent Sourcer is responsible for implementing a variety of sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for key, difficult to fill positions throughout multiple lines of business, with an emphasis on Information Technology and Finance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through the use of internal and external sourcing methods including generating referrals, crafting Boolean searches, social networks, networking events, and other creative tactics.
- Craft and send compelling emails campaigns that highlight our accolades, benefits and culture.
- Promote our employer brand.
- Source candidates through a variety of means such as data mining social network and professional sites, networking, job fairs, cold calling, and phone screens.
- Identify leading talent and invest time activating passive candidates through an engaged approach.
- Maintain an active pipeline of top-notch candidates.
- Stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends and most effective talent acquisition channels.
- Work closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to develop creative strategies to find the best talent.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with employees, management and the Human Resources Team, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Partner with Recruiters in a manner that promotes a partnership for acquiring the necessary talent in an efficient model of operation.
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that all recruiting practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state local regulations.
- Serve as a backup for permanent recruitment hiring if volume dictates.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degreein Human Resources or equivalent preferred
- 0-3 Years of Talent Sourcer/Recruitment experience from an external staffing agency required
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques and candidate engagement approach required
- Interview experience with experience screening for both technical and cultural qualities required
- Experience in the banking industry preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred Or
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)-HRCI preferred
