Talent Sourcing Specialist
Introduction:
The Talent Sourcing Specialist will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to build and execute the research strategy for talent pipeline building, market mapping, market research and competitor analysis. They will source passive candidates from a variety of sources and communities. The successful candidate will provide high level customer service support and secure talent in a growing competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct candidate sourcing activities (identify, engage, screen, evaluate) for both passive and active candidates, ensuring that candidate pools and pipelines are filled with diverse candidates who hold the necessary experience, skills, and competencies.
- Support the talent acquisition process by managing job posts across internal and external Toshiba career sites as well as social media and relevant job boards. Always leverage diverse sourcing strategies, research alternative sourcing methods, and make recommendations.
- Engage and communicate with potential candidates for a diverse range of roles, gauge their interest and suitability for specific current or future positions. Do so via professional networks, via email, phone, and video conference.
- Match, review and evaluate candidate applications and/or proactively sourced resumes against current recruitment needs.
- Contribute to development of an industry-best candidate database. Ensure that candidate (current or future) data is updated timely within our CRM database to be able to identify potential applicants for positions.
- Drive operational excellence in talent sourcing by ensuring delivery against key metrics (KPIs).
- Participate in initiatives together with the Toshiba Recruitment team and Manager of Talent Acquisition to position Toshiba Global Commerce as an employer of choice and implement meaningful programs to ensure successful recruitment and development of right fit talent.
- Represent Toshiba in the marketplace both as part of providing a world-class candidate experience and in support talent acquisition goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience as a Sourcing Specialist or Talent Researcher, preferably in a high-volume recruiting agency or corporate talent acquisition environment. Preferred industry experience includes sourcing technical talent in any industry
Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated success in identifying and engaging exceptional candidates, building robust candidate pipelines, and diversity sourcing.
- Experience working with recruiting and candidate related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, CRMs, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools. (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search strings, Handshake, job boards, social media, etc.)
- Comprehensive expertise in creating sourcing strategies and methods for finding candidates in support of both volume and niche roles.
- Expert Boolean search and data mining skills.
- Strong focus on a high touch candidate experience with a passion for driving for results.
- Exemplary communication skills and presence with an ability to develop and cultivate authentic and long-lasting relationships.
- Independent analytical person capable of succeeding without need of constant oversight.
- Attention to detail combined with strong project management skills are key to successfully managing multiple sourcing/research projects.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done and help where it is needed
