Targeting Instructor

Core One is currently seeking a Targeting Instructor to support an operational and analytical program for an Intelligence Community customer.  

**THIS POSITION REQUIRES A CURRENT TS/SCI WITH POLYGRAPH CLEARANCE**

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to teach operational support techniques on a full-time basis.
• Lead curriculum design efforts and integrate new content into the existing curriculum as it is developed.
• Serve as a primary instructor for live iterations of the course
• Build and maintain the digital course environment, including comprehensive scenarios and practical exercises (PE’s), and PE-related simulations
• Support the PMO with sponsor engagements that involve the direction of the course project.
• Directly task corporate resources (ie: part-time curriculum developer support) as needed to advance the project.
• Prepare and present comprehensive end-of-course reports that are customized for each student.
• Coordinate as needed with Department-level contractor coach/mentors to support additional student development following course graduation.

Requirements:

• ACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
• 12+ years of sponsor targeting experience required either in a targeting or technical targeting analyst role, and experience with sponsor’s message handling system
• Experience in both Headquarters and field-based assignments.
• Experience across the range of instructional settings, live and virtual, and contemporary adult learning methodologies.
• Experience with instructional design and scenario scripting/development.
• Capacity to credibly coach/mentor each program function on the course aspects specific to their field.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in Sponsor research tools and techniques
• Ability to analyze data and research results
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational skills to address complex issues
