Job Description
This position will play a critical role in acting as the liaison between headquarters and property operations. Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, this individual will have a relentless determination to enhance efficiency with the current portfolio operations.Â
What you’ll doÂ- Ability to step in as interim Market Lead in times of transition or to triage underperforming markets in current portfolioÂ
- Research vendors, evaluate their efficacy, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to support property operations which include: housekeeping, laundry services, maintenance, and security. Â
- Collaborate with People team to serve as a resource with onboarding needs and hiring when appropriate
- Train team members on all aspects of the property operations, software, and processes to ensure they are prepared to support property operationsÂ
- Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by Director of Regional Operations and Expansion ManagerÂ
- Eager to travel up to +50% and stay on property for 1-30 days at a timeÂ
- 2+ years of operations experience; Previous grand opening experience preferred
- Prior experience of management and training; passionate about people Â
- Ability to lead under tight deadlines effectively and have strong communication skills to collaborate cross functionally
- Worked with vendors and partners previously in negotiation stageÂ
- Impeccable organizational skills and a logical mindset
- Strong ability to read and evaluate people quickly
- Tech savvy and interested in integrating technology into operational tasks
- Willingness to learn, as well as independently problem solve
