New York City is where we call home. Covid protocols are in place if employees work on property or corporate employees choose to go to NYC office. Our HQ office is located in Midtown Manhattan neighboring Time Square attractions. Regardless of where our employees are based, we work on east coast hours to collaborate, communicate, and not miss out on any fun emoji exchanges. About this position 

This position will play a critical role in acting as the liaison between headquarters and property operations. Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, this individual will have a relentless determination to enhance efficiency with the current portfolio operations. 

What you’ll do 
  • Ability to step in as interim Market Lead in times of transition or to triage underperforming markets in current portfolio 
  • Research vendors, evaluate their efficacy, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to support property operations which include: housekeeping, laundry services, maintenance, and security.  
  • Collaborate with People team to serve as a resource with onboarding needs and hiring when appropriate
  • Train team members on all aspects of the property operations, software, and processes to ensure they are prepared to support property operations 
  • Support with ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by Director of Regional Operations and Expansion Manager 
  • Eager to travel up to +50% and stay on property for 1-30 days at a time 
You should have 
  • 2+ years of operations experience; Previous grand opening experience preferred
  • Prior experience of management and training; passionate about people  
  • Ability to lead under tight deadlines effectively and have strong communication skills to collaborate cross functionally
  • Worked with vendors and partners previously in negotiation stage 
  • Impeccable organizational skills and a logical mindset
  • Strong ability to read and evaluate people quickly
  • Tech savvy and interested in integrating technology into operational tasks
  • Willingness to learn, as well as independently problem solve
