Task Lead
We are seeking a Task Lead for an upcoming opportunity with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position will support several ATO directorates under Program Management, Technical Analysis, Administrative, and Managerial. The Task Lead serves as the expert responsible for technical leadership, direction, strategic and tactical planning, and oversight in the management and administration of the task orders issued by FAA customers. This role is responsible for ensuring work requested under the task order is performed properly to the complete satisfaction of the customer. This role is responsible for technical performance of all WBS area products and services and for ensuring cost, schedule and programmatic objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints. Other responsibilities include staffing, personnel management, review and approval of technical products, and expenditures, and direct support of the customer as required.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- 6 years of experience overseeing administrative support staff on large projects
- Experience with complex program and/or project issues within government
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work from client site in Washington DC on a daily basis
Work Responsibilities:
- Assigned to a specific or multiple directorates such as (AJV, AJI, AJW, AJG or AJR)
- Manage personnel to deliver products and services to the FAA Management Services organization.
- Supports Business and Financial services including budget formulation and execution.
- Understands and can provide data analytics, mining and documentation management.
- Provides Administrative support: preparing, editing, revising, commenting, on all documents and written materials.
- Capable of providing technical writing and editing.
- Understand and how to implement technical training support.
- Supports assigned ATO Directorate contract tracking and expenditure control.
- Supports efforts to meet contract objectives, deliverables, and performance quality goals.
- Executive management support for high level (e.g. Congressional) briefings and inquiries.
- Supports FAA Management Systems Strategic planning.
- Provides IT support including systems design, development, and maintenance.
Preferred:
- Program Management Professional (PMP) Certified or working on PMP Certification
- Direct experience working within the FAA ATO Directorates
