Job Summary

We are looking for an Tax Accountant to join our eMed team and help us to accurately prepare and submit all assigned financial reports as per national requirements. This individual will work with a team of finance professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
  • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
  • Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
  • Make sure that clients comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
  • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
  • Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
  • Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Sales Tax reconciliation and filings
  • Establish and maintain appropriate transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure compliance with local transfer pricing regulations and to optimize the allocation of profits among different entities within the organization.
  • All other accounting duties as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Expertise in US GAAP
  • Experience in NetSuite preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SaaS revenue recognition requirements
  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Strong aptitude to learn in fast paced environment
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and energy
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of broad finance experience required with a track record of strong financial and operational discipline, in the Healthcare market.
  • CPA required.
