Tax Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant/Preparer (CPA or Enrolled Agent is a plus) with two or more years of experience in public accounting to join our team. The candidate will have the ability to multi-task and handle routinely shifting demands. They will also have a high degree of attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, including necessary accounting and analysis - Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients - Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance - Interact with clients on a daily basis Skills: - Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office software - Knowledge of UltraTax tax software is a plus - Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles - Ability to interpret financial reports and analyze data effectively Elfand & Associates, P.C. is a small family-owned full-service accounting firm specializing in tax preparation and planning for businesses and personal clients. Our clients are mainly based in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Florida. However, we service clients across the United States. Our staff provide a range of tax services including but not limited to Tax Preparation, Consulting, Bookkeeping, Accounting, Sales Tax Filings, and Financial Statement Compilations.
