Clearwater positions open to candidates located in greater Tampa Bay area.
The Tax Analyst will be a part of the global tax team and will be responsible forย tax projects, income tax filings, indirect tax filings, and legislative research. The ideal candidate will be familiar with accounting processes as well as state and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify areas of issue and conduct tax research projects
- Pull data for indirect tax returns
- Recommend tax strategiesย
- Provide data and information for the accurate calculation and submission of estimated federal and state income tax payments
- Collect, track, and respond to federal and state tax notices
- Track tax law changes and effectively communicate how the changes will or will not affect ongoing KnowBe4 Tax operations and processes
- Create reports and analyzes key tax law changes
- Accurately reconcile tax accounts
- Track external project progress by information received
- Work closely with other finance teams
- Maintain relationships with consultants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA eligible
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to learn new concepts
- Superior written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
