Your Role and Responsibilities

• Global tax compliance management: Collaborating with global teams to ensure IBM complies with local and international tax regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns tax planning and collaborating in audits.
• Process optimization: Identifying opportunities for improvement within tax processes and working with cross-functional teams to implement them including finance legal and operations departments.
• Tax reporting: preparing tax reports (cashpayment tax provision etc)
• Global communication: As part of a COE team fluency in English is desirable for effective collaboration with global teams and delivering strategic support.
• This role requires technical expertise in taxes understanding on accounting processes and their impact and a strong ability to work in a collaborative international environment

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Degree in Accounting is required
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in tax compliance and advisory preferably in an international context.
• Expertise in direct taxes.
• Experience in managing tax compliance for multiple legal entities and understanding global tax regulations.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Preference for candidates with a background in the Big 4 tax firms or large multinational companies tax departments.
• Knowledge of tax regulations in multiple countries is highly valued
