Tax and Accounting Specialist

The Tax and Accounting Specialist’s mission is to ensure the

organization's financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Confirm the accuracy of records and documents related to VAT reporting and declarations performed by Uniops(D300, D394,D390);

• Remain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws

• SAFT declarations for Unilever Romania and USCE;

• Intrastat declaration for intracommunity arrivals and expeditions goods.

• Environmental Fund Administration return journal in BL for closing VAT GL accounts.

• Mandatory annual stock inventory.

• National Statistics reporting stock value.

• Various balance reconciliation accounts.

• Various accounting journals;

• Providing support to internal audit and fiscal control;

• Responsible for the accounting records generated by the management of the two shops.

• Support performing Fixed Assets, Projects Accounting and Capital Expenditure /Order Accounting for diverse and complex business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Experience in a similar role.

• Medium English Knowledge (conversational).

• Proven experience in experience in Fixed Assets Accounting area, or in performing different analysis like leasing/ depreciation/ provisions analysis.

• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, broader experience in tax area; to be able to foresee all challenges that we may face from fiscal perspective.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
