Requirements:

• Licensed CPA.

• 6+ years’ experience in public accounting in Tax.

• BS/BA degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Master degree preferred).

• Licensed CPA or EA certified

• Experience preparing/reviewing Form 1120-REIT U.S. Income Tax Return for REITs

• Experience preparing/reviewing Form 8612 Return of Excise Tax on Undistributed Income of REITs

• Experience preparing/reviewing multi-state corporate tax returns

• Experience preparing/reviewing annual income and quarterly asset tests for REITs

• Extensive experience in real estate industry (traditional residential and commercial experience is great but experience with other real estate like data centers timber industrial infrastructure assets etc. is a plus)

• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Demonstrates proactive thinking and a strong desire to learn.

• Extensive experience in researching tax issues and exposure to a variety of flow-through tax issues.

Responsibility:

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of flow-through clients in the Real-Estate Crypto Currency Venture Capital Private Equity and/or Wine Industry.

• Manage multiple engagements and deliver high quality products timely and efficiently.

• Deliver and Develop innovative financial planning ideas that meet or exceed client expectations.

• Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.

• Develop recommendations and implementation plans for clients and team members.

• Develop and motivate tax seniors and associates by reviewing their work and provide counseling leadership and career guidance.

$180000 - $220000 a year

Pay Range - $1800000 - $220000

The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.  Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area do not meet the minimum requirements or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
