Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare federal and state corporate, individual, and partnership returns
• Research tax issues
• Reconciliation of book to tax income
• Analyze depreciation methods
• Assist in tax planning and projections
• Accept and respond to engagement feedback
• Working beyond standard job hours is expected during busy season

Qualifications:

• BA/BS/MS in Accounting or similar field; high school degree required
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam with 150 credits
• Ability to learn quickly and apply learned concepts to new situations
• Ability to travel to clients if needed
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management, organizational, and analytical abilities
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once
• Work well under pressure and with a team; ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment; Marcum LLP will not provide employment sponsorship for this position
