Samsung Electronics Romania is looking for a Tax Expert for the Tax & Accounting Team.

Role and Responsibilities

- Checking, from a fiscal point of view, the supporting documentation for the registration of the main types of expenses and proposing solutions to ensure their deductibility from the point of view of corporate tax and VAT;

- Providing support to other departments in the implementation of projects and processes with implications on the tax position of the Company;

- Drawing up procedures specific to the Tax function;

- Checking documentation related to transactions with non-residents and analyzing them from the point of view of income tax obtained by non-residents;

- Coordination of the process of formalization of transactions carried out by the Company with related parties and of the process of centralization of supporting documentation;

- Monitoring the achievement of performance and reporting indicators for the Tax function;

- Verification of tax returns before the deadline for submission to the tax authorities;

- Preparation of the annual tax returns required by the national legislation on the taxation of income earned by non-residents of Romania;

- Preparation of monthly/annual tax returns;

- Preparing the monthly environmental declaration and submitting it within the time limit provided by law;

- Checking the calculations made by third parties to establish the environmental obligations of the Company, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring the accuracy of the information reported;

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Proven experience using excel full time

- Master's Degree in Economics, Accounting or similar

- Minimum 3 years in a similar position

- Solid Understanding of English language
