We are currently recruiting for a Tax Manager to join the Finance team. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead and manage the company's quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740 including the preparation of tax-related financial reporting disclosures; must have detailed working knowledge of complex income tax accounting concepts, including interim reporting, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances and foreign provisions.
  • Lead worldwide tax compliance including Income Tax, Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, Franchise Tax, GST, VAT, and others by using a combination of internal and external advisor resource.
  • Oversee the preparation and recording of all required tax related journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Lead foreign statutory financial audits, oversee progress, and ensure the timely completion of the audits.
  • Maintain the corporate worldwide entity structure and evaluate the company’s intercompany transfer pricing policy.
  • Manage and facilitate domestic and international income tax audits: preparing responses and corresponding with auditors.
  • Provide tax support on M&A and internal restructuring transactions including quantitative analysis of tax impact in alternative transaction scenarios and preparation of transaction step documents.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical support to other departments, as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance
  • 6+ years of relevant tax experience
  • CPA  Required and public accounting experience highly preferred
  • Ability to effectively supervise and work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Highly organized and thorough
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

 The pay range for this role is $100.000 to $120,000 which takes into account factors such as candidate experience, skills, training, internal team equity and local norms.
