Marcum LLP is seeking an Alternative Investment Group Tax Manager to join our growing and well-established national firm. This position requires an experienced Tax professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. The position is based out of the Rockville, MD office.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• The candidate must be a CPA
• A Master’s Degree in Taxation is preferred
• The candidate should have 6 to 10 years of experience specifically handling private equity and/or hedge fund partnerships and blocker corporations with some experience handling management companies
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent  communication skills (both verbal and writing skills) and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners
• The ability to develop and advance to the role of Senior Manager
• Excellent judgment and the ability to work independently
• Excellent training skills

Compensation Range

Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
