Tax Analyst (Philippines-based Freelancers)

About the Role
As a Tax Analyst you’ll play a vital role in preparing US-based tax documents while ensuring client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include processing tax documents preparing accurate returns and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent results.

What You'll Do:

📂 Tax Preparation : Process and upload tax documents prepare returns for forms such as 1040 1065 1120 1120S 990 series and 1023.
📋 Client Collaboration : Communicate with clients to request missing information or escalate completed tax returns to the Tax Manager for review.
📤 Timely Responses : Respond to client messages within 24 hours to maintain strong relationships.
📆 Extensions and Estimates : Prepare tax extensions and calculate estimated taxes.
📌 Ad Hoc Projects : Take on additional projects as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:
🎓 A college degree or equivalent education.
💻 Strong computer skills tech-savviness and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
📈 Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably with a public accounting firm.
🧾 Proficient knowledge of US tax principles including the Internal Revenue Code and business entity structuring (especially S Corporations).
📖 Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
🌟 A professional reliable work ethic and ability to handle deadlines under pressure.
