Withum’s Tax Services Group is made up of a brilliant team of tax specialists that work to ensure tax reporting obligations are met in an accurate and timely manner and minimize or defer the payment of taxes. Their comprehensive understanding of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, counting our affiliation with HLB international, allows them to help develop economical tax strategies anywhere. Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local Tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services.

As a Tax Project Coordinator, you’ll work closely with our clients and teams to ensure accurate and timely communications, coordination of meetings and schedules, maintaining a project file for the service teams, and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within the required timeframe. 

How You’ll Spend Your Time: 

• Engaging with clients on specific projects including tax and advisory engagements
• Gathering documents related to the projects/clients assigned and coordinating with the engagement teams
• Tracking materials through our project management teams and actively engaging team members and clients to move the projects forward to completion.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Establish appropriate times frames and coordinate meetings and schedules
• Utilizing the Firm’s project management system to manage projects efficiently and in a timely manner
• Participating on the firm wide project management team to develop best practices and make recommendations for efficiency
• Assisting with other duties as needed

 The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to: 

• Required Education Level: Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred
• Have strong personal and communication skills both written and verbal; ability to develop relationships with clients and be a go to contact; able to adapt to a variety of styles and personalities.
• Have great organizational skills
• Have the ability to work with several technology platforms including Microsoft Office suite and learn our project management platform
• Are responsive and able to handle multiple projects and communications simultaneously
• Have excellent attention to detail; ability to multitask and adapt to shifting needs and priorities.
• Are reliable, productive, and self-motivated; able to work well under pressure.
• Are able to learn and adapt to new and complex procedures quickly.
• Have excellent time management skills.
• Have project management experience preferred (may include administrative projects)
