Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and support for tax calculation projects, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of tax computation tools and systems.
• Analyze tax data and create reports for forecasting and trend analysis.
• Stay updated on federal tax legislation and adjust systems and reports accordingly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, tax analysis, and use of tax software.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Eligibility:

• Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
