Your impact

TAs play a critical role in teaching ~35-45 learners (as part of a larger class) in Correlation One’s virtual Data Analytics training program. The TA commitment for our programs will be for the duration of seventeen (18) weeks.

Please note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and roles are filled on a first come first serve basis.


A day in the life

  • Data Analytics 7 - United States and Canada: Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 - Saturday, October 10th, 2023
    • Lectures will be delivered on Tuesdays from Noon - 2pm ET and Saturdays from Noon - 5 pm ET.
  • Data Analytics 8 - United Kingdom: Saturday, May 20th, 2023 - Saturday, September 26th, 2023
    • Lectures will be delivered on Tuesdays from 10 am - Noon ET and Saturdays from 10 am - 3 pm ET
  • Join us for our program launches, which will take place on the first day of the program, where you will introduce yourself to learners. 
  • Join us for the TA Weekly Meeting (1 hour each week)
  • Provide 4 hours for Full-Time TA’s and 2 hours for Part-Time TA’s  of open office hour sessions for learners each week. You may set these hours within our parameters, for your convenience.
  • Support in Grading Fellow’s deliverables (3 hours for Full-Time TAs each week and 2 hours for Part-Time TAs each week)
  • Work with fellow instructors/TAs and our team on ways to improve learner experience (Note: you will be paired with a fellow TA to support a cohort of learners) 

Your expertise

  • Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics or Computer Science
  • Empathy, flexibility, patience; passion for working with diverse learners who are new to content
  • Experience in mentoring or supervising if no prior teaching experience
  • Prior teaching experience at any level is a plus
  • Experience as a teaching assistant or participant in any of our programs is a plus
  • A desire to support students in upskilling their careers into data roles
  • Outstanding team and people management skills

Where you are

  • This role is remote, and preferred to be in the United States or Canada for Data Analytics 7.
  • This role is remote, and preferred to be in the United Kingdom or Ireland for Data Analytics 8.

Compensation

New full time TA's will compensated a total of $7,650 for the entire duration of the program. Returning full time TA's will be compensated $9,600 for the entire duration of the program. New part time TA's will be compensated a total of $5,100 for the entire duration of the program. Returning part time TA's will be compensated $6,400 for the entire duration of the program.

A banded bonus structure is given based on performance at the end of the program.
