What does a Team Lead really do?
Think of yourself as one of the leaders of your department who is responsible for providing the best customer experience to your clients, so not just anyone is qualified for the role. We make sure we get the best of the best, after all, we are a ridiculously good company so we make sure our employees are top-notch. So come on, now we need your full concentration because it's time to imagine what it's like being a Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the team through mentorship, accountability, and guidance, measuring success through performance metrics
- Establishes team goals through measurable outcomes, tracking the successes, and actively engages in problem-solving measures collaboratively within the department
- Engages with other departments, providing report results and actionable insights, suggesting best practice recommendations
- Implements tactical and strategic plans, policies, and procedures, acting as the communication champion between your teammates and other departments
Role Requirements
- 2+ years of people management, dealing with HR-related issues as well as staff development and operational management experience--remote management is a plus
- Great communication skills, written and orally, working to develop teams, communicating upwards and outwards to various departments
- Demonstrate strong abilities to work independently and as a remote team player
- Demonstrate the ability to work with different teams and work styles, collaborating with others in the name of customer experience
- Must be adaptable and flexible, demonstrating abilities to work with process and information changes, actively engaging in process improvement strategies
- Must be willing to participate in a background screening, including a credit check
- Proven customer communication experience through chat messaging, email, and phone
- Strong working knowledge of external systems and PC-based Internet and software applications (e.g. internet, Microsoft Office)
- Must have a background in the financial services or the banking industry
