Job Description

General Position Summary

Will assist the department supervisor in managing day-to-day processing activities for the department. Ensure quality standards, production goals and client deadlines are met.

Essential Position Duties

• Maintain quality standards in all areas of production
• Lead work team responsible for each area within production
• Provide training to new associates and on new accounts as needed
• Assign work and manage work flow
• Provide input for annual performance reviews
• Ensure all processing deadlines / volume goals are communicated and met daily
• Review productivity statistics of team members on a weekly basis
• Ensure team adherence to customer instructions, best practices, control procedures and information security directives
• Analyze and resolve routine, daily production problems
• Monitor associate job skill development to ensure optimum performance of the team
• Complete team logs and reports
• Perform production tasks as required
• Be a leader and a coach
• Support and contribute to the achievement of the goals and objectives of TransCentra's vision and mission statements

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of comparable industry experience
• Strong knowledge of technology and job processes
• Must be well organized and possess the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to motivate and develop team members
• Good trouble shooting and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate leadership qualities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must be PC literate

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk & stand for long periods of time to distribute the flow of work across Production area.
• Must be able to lift trays of mail, weighing 10-20 lbs.
