Team Lead, Accounts receivable
Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilizes prior work experience to organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations
Provides consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to associates
Actively contributes to domain body of knowledge
Manages significant daily accounting and reporting activities
Manages compliance with controls and accounting policy
Manages complex accounting estimates
Assists with internal and external audits
Generally responsible for multiple major accounting activities or fully responsible for entire accounting function
Facilitates all aspects of revenue recognition for long-term contracts
Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations
Prepares Revenue Recognition schedules and write-ups
Completes all journal entries to properly recognize revenue, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue for long-term contracts
Provides enterprise level expertise in functional area
Recognized as a thought leader in functional area
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Masterβs degree; or a PhD with 5 yearsβ experience; or equivalent work experience
Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting and SEC reporting requirements
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
Strong analysis and project management skills
Ability to effectively delegate and/or supervise
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Accounting Degree, CPA
Understands the competitive landscape from both a business and technical perspective
Travel %
