About the Company: Our client is a prominent global organization with a diverse portfolio that spans emerging sectors such as e-commerce, multichannel retail, and consulting services focused on data, AI, and digital solutions. Enhancing data management and developing AI applications are pivotal to the companyβs strategic growth. The Data & Analytics team, comprising around 200 international experts and consultants, is crucial in shaping the future direction of the group.
Role Summary: We are seeking a data professional with international and initial leadership experience. You will lead an interdisciplinary team of 8-10 members plus external experts to design, develop, roll out, and maintain data analytics and AI products across one of our core domains domains, such as supply chain management, purchasing, logistics, finance, and customer insights. Your work will support the business in making better decisions and crafting data-driven strategies.
Primary Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
- Lead your team along agile principles and foster personal development.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and other team leaders to improve team performance.
- Hold end-to-end accountability for specific use cases, from initial vision to continuous improvement, aligned with value-driven Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Support projects in roles such as Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Product Owner, Frontend Specialist, or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Innovate using advanced techniques and tools to discover new solutions.
Your Profile: You should bring:
- A degree in an IT-related field
- Extensive experience in one of the specified roles
- Relevant project management experience in data & analytics, with a proven track record of leading teams
- Hands-on experience in an agile work environment
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, assertiveness, and enthusiasm
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
