Job Description: Supervise, distribute and guide the implementation of projects to a small team, to help deliver a stable, scalable and efficient platform for our customers. Run and participate in planning the company infrastructure consisting of networking, containerization clusters, virtual servers, bare metal servers. Responsible for maintenance of systems, as well as actively planning, making proactive adjustments to such systems to ensure stability, security, and scalability. Lead and implement projects that impact platform infrastructure. Coordinate with external parties/vendors and auditors to ensure enterprise-grade quality of the system. Keep the platform running smoothly and provide tools and processes for fast, as well as efficient systems for the engineers. Telecommuting Permitted. Supervise 2 employees.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer engineering, computer science or a related field, plus 6 years of experience in a software development role. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) 2 years of experience in operating a Kubernetes or Docker Swarm cluster in production; (2) 6 years of experience with Linux based systems; (3) 6 years of experience in general security best practices and how to implement them; (4) 4 years of experience with secure and scalable high availability systems in any of major cloud systems ex: IBM cloud, AWS, Redhat; (5) 6 years of experience in networking and necessary network configuration on Linux systems; (6) 6 years of experience working with auditors, vendors and third parties to conduct infrastructure projects; (7) 6 years of experience in infrastructure components from DNS management to individual server port configuration; (8) 6 years of experience in managing individual bare metal UNIX (REDHAT LINUX/CENTOS) servers; (9) 6 years of experience in Database cluster systems such as SQL Server, ORACLE and data services work assistance. Our wage range for this role is targeted from $135,000 - $154,000.
