World Wide Technology is seeking a Team Lead of the End User Computing Team within internal IT. The team is responsible for corporate hardware standards, mobile device management, OS management, configuration management and patching, application packaging and deployment, tier 4 end-user support, and providing a secure and delightful end-user experience.
Candidates for this position will possess a proven track record of building and developing teams with a strong focus on leadership and mentoring. The candidate will understand endpoint device management systems (such as VMware Workspace One, Airwatch, MobileIron, or Microsoft SCCM). In addition, the candidate will seek out opportunities to solve business needs and use a data-driven approach to improving processes.
The proper candidate is a self-driven logical thinker who can work collaboratively. They have a passion for technology and are interested in taking on new solutions and challenges. The ideal candidate has shown a strong track record of leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide functional and technical leadership while promoting best practices and direction to team members
- Create and foster an atmosphere of mentoring, quality, diversity, collaboration, and improvement by actively coaching your team members
- Grow and develop members of your team: understand their goals and work with them to achieve them, hold regular and effective one-on-ones, conduct annual performance reviews, provide real-time coaching, engage in difficult conversations as needed, recognize and reward the right behaviors
- Provide input into team members' compensation, hiring and performance improvement decisions, and promotions
- Work in conjunction with the team manager and Product Owner to set goals and track the performance of the team using performance metrics
- Work with the immediate team and leaders throughout the organization to develop strategic goals
- Act as an escalation point and remove impediments from the team to help them be as effective as possible. This includes production-impacting issues, both during and after business hours.
- Represent WWT in occasional customer engagements, advising customers on best practices and WWT processes and vision.
- Work closely with other teams in IT to provide root cause analysis and resolve systemic end-user issues reaching multiple teams
- Work closely with other IT leaders to build collaborative partnerships
- Interact with end-users to identify current end-user computing practices and make selection recommendations accordingly
- Work closely with the Global Service Desk to drive process enhancements and efficiencies
- Work closely with Information Security to ensure our devices are secure and compliant in line with industry standards and customer requirements
- Stay up to date on industry changes in End User Computing technology and best practices
- Lead the team through strategic roadmap efforts holding them accountable to timelines, scope, and deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience demonstrating strong leadership skills, including the development and mentorship of employees
- Minimum 5 years of administrator or analyst experience in Information Technology
- Possess a solid understanding of Agile processes
- Familiarity with enterprise mobility management (EMM) systems such as Microsoft SCCM, VMware Workspace One, Airwatch, etc.
- Ability to drive strategy and vision, holding the team accountable for accomplishing goals and progressing on the team's vision.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for both a technical and non-technical audience
- A passion for working with end-users and stakeholders to gather needs and requirements and planning to put solutions in place to increase productivity and user delight.
- Proven problem-solving, change management, and technical planning skills
- A passion for learning new skills and new technology
