About the team:
MyXero Ghostbusters (MXGB) is one of two enablement teams in the Direct Growth portfolio. We help empower Xero product and engineering teams to deliver customer value by providing and evolving a suite of services based around the MyXero database. The team are supporting various onboarding initiatives while strategically modernising the platform.
We're looking for an Engineering Team Lead to support the MyXero Ghostbusters team!
About the role:
- Engage, understand, collaborate, and communicate effectively with peers and teams across Xero to drive continuous improvement towards Xero’s sustainably excellent engineering vision.
- Lead your team of NZ based engineers to successfully identify, scope, manage, and complete high quality work which delivers measurable improvements to production systems in a timely manner.
- Build cross-team relationships for win-win outcomes
- Foster team growth through feedback, coaching, and opportunities for advancement
- Analyse system health and make regular system health reviews
- Support engineers during incidents and facilitate post incident reviews
- Maintain current knowledge of technologies used in the development of Xero’s software applications.
- Build cross-team relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
