This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to drive the development of scalable sandbox and orchestration solutions within a globally distributed technology environment. Accountabilities:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team, combining technical leadership with active hands-on development responsibilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and automation systems using modern engineering best practices.
  • Drive the development of orchestration tools, sandbox environments, and data synchronization pipelines that support secure and efficient workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality user experiences and technical solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, promote engineering standards, and ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability across projects.
  • Define and execute technical roadmaps while balancing short-term delivery priorities with long-term platform stability and scalability.
  • Facilitate Agile development processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective team collaboration practices.
  • Identify technical risks, troubleshoot production issues, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Represent engineering perspectives in cross-functional discussions, advocating for technical health, operational efficiency, and sustainable architecture decisions.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience leading software engineering teams in fast-paced SaaS, technology, or startup-like environments.
    • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming principles and scalable system design.
    • Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and modern full-stack development practices.
    • Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality production code.
    • Advanced SQL knowledge with experience writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
    • Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and data flow management across services.
    • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across applications, databases, and production systems.
    • Experience managing incidents, debugging production issues, and supporting high-availability environments.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a collaborative and rapidly evolving environment.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and modern software delivery processes.
    • Experience contributing to open-source projects or working across multiple technology stacks is considered a plus.
