Who we are looking for:
As a Team Lead of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for coaching Buyer Representatives and ensuring the sales strategy within each territory of your assigned region is successfully executed. You will act as both a coach, helping grow the sales and problem solving skills of our sales Teammates, and a sales representative responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with external customers.
What you will do:
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Responsible for the hiring, onboarding and performance management of the Teammates within the department.
- Act as a point of escalation for the Buyer Representatives s when advance problem solving or issue resolution is required.
- Develop strong relationships with customers through phone, text, and email conversations to increase unit and product penetration. Assist Buyer Representatives with maintaining customer relationships, negotiating and closing if/bids
- Recognize and provide coaching on new opportunities to advance your team.
- Coach Buyer Representatives to enhance their effectiveness, and holding them accountable for results and related KPI's
- In partnership with Sales Management, conduct monthly reviews of sales results and hold meetings with Buyer Representatives to advise on areas of improvements and use of new tools.
- Provide process improvement recommendations to Sales Management.
- Proactively identify sales trends within your assigned regions and escalate concerns to Sales Management to reconstruct the sales approach, as needed.
- Partner directly with the Field Sales team to develop and execute sales strategies for your assigned market in order to retain and grow your customer base and unit volume.
- Maintain orderly records through documentation of all customer interactions in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Create a positive experience through proactive outreach to understand customers buying and selling needs, and offer creative solutions to meet their needs.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of ACV's portfolio of products and attend product training as required.
- Meet or exceed assigned monthly sales goals for your assigned Region.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 5 years' sales experience, preferably within an Inside Sales department and/or the automotive industry
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
- Strong understanding of technology. Salesforce experience is highly desired.
- Desire to lead a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed their goals
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Understanding of the automotive industry with knowledge on customer and market dynamics
- May require travel on an as needed basis.
Compensation: $75,000 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
