Team Lead Kotlin Multiplatform & IOS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) & iOS Engineer to join our NRS Team.

At this position you will:

* You will be responsible for leading the technical effort to convert an existing Kotlin project to run on iPads, utilizing Kotlin Multiplatform.

* This role will involve conducting a comprehensive technical assessment to evaluate what is required to transition the current Kotlin project to support Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and handle hands-on development of the iOS UI.

* The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build and manage a dedicated team to support this transition, ensuring the project's success through strong leadership and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the effort to convert an existing Kotlin project to run on iPads using Kotlin Multiplatform technology.
• Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment to evaluate what is required to transition the current Kotlin project to support Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) 
• Build, manage, and mentor a team of developers to execute the conversion and ensure high-quality code and performance.
• Architect, design, and develop key features and ensure cross-platform compatibility for both Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with other technical leads, designers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Apple’s design and development guidelines for iOS, while maintaining the codebase for Android.
• Perform code reviews, provide technical leadership, and ensure that team members follow best practices.
• Solve complex technical challenges and optimize performance across multiple platforms.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• Hands-on expertise in iOS development, with a focus on UI components and native iOS frameworks (Swift/Objective-C) including a deep understanding of Apple’s design principles.
• At least 1+ year of experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Experience with Android is highly desirable.
• Proven experience building and managing development teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Understanding of cross-platform development challenges and solutions.
• English - B2+
