OVERVIEW

The Insights product is one of the products offering for Guidepoint's Institutional investment and corporate clients, that offers teleconferences, surveys, and in-person events. The teleconferences live in a transcript library portal, which covers a wide of industries/topics that enables our clients to make informed decisions. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Manual transcription and QA:

• Listen to audio recordings and transcribe the spoken content into clear and accurate written text.
• Review and edit transcriptions, generated by AI or team members, to ensure they are free of errors and accurately reflect the original content.
• Manage the team of manual transcribers with an aim to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and maintain a high level of output quality from the team.
• Create objective scorecards to measure productivity of the team and determine quality of the transcription.
• Collaborating with team members to clarify unclear audio segments and resolve any discrepancies to ensure high-quality transcription.
• Format transcriptions according to Guidepoint specifications and standards. Ensure Guidepoint editorial style guide and protocols are adhered to.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Meet deadlines for transcription projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Utilize transcription software and tools as needed.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous experience (5+ years) of managing team of transcribers across different industries (e.g., legal, medical, financial)
• Certification or training in transcription is a plus.
• Familiarity with transcription software and tools is a plus.
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment; Effective time management and organizational skills
