Vidyard is looking for a resourceful and organized Team Lead, Marketing Automation (13 month contract) to join our high-performance marketing team! In this role we are looking for a proactive marketer with experience in a Product-Led-Growth (PLG) environment and a proven track record of marketing operations and campaign execution inside Marketo.

This is a remote position. 

A bit about you:

You have hands-on Marketo experience and love marketing automation, building & optimizing campaigns, and all things MarTech. You’re a team player who enjoys coaching and mentoring others. Not only that, but you’re constantly experimenting, using data to optimize campaigns, thinking about scalability, and finding new ways to engage and qualify online prospects.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Segment Marketing, you will: 

  • Mentor and lead the Marketing Automation team to deliver on Vidyard’s integrated marketing campaigns according to business objectives and best practices
  • Oversee, QA and deliver on email, program & nurture execution 
  • Guide email calendar alignment and provide recommendations for efficiencies and opportunities 
  • Be a SME and owner of Vidyard’s MarTech stack, acting as an advisor for  other team members and conduct evaluations of existing vendors and proposals of new technology to align to business objectives 
  • Work cross-functionally to develop strategic workflows and smart campaigns that support the execution and optimization of Marketing programs designed to align with the buyer’s journey
  • Review workflow and campaign performance to suggest optimizations, set up automation, personalization, and testing focused on continuous improvement with regular reporting
  • Design, implement and deploy campaigns in Marketo, ensuring that data from integrated marketing programs flows accurately into Salesforce
  • Lead ongoing efforts of marketing automation best practices: database health and quality, lead scoring, segmentation and lead list creation, programs, forms, and system assets for accurate, integrated reporting
  • Support campaign execution, scoring and marketing  operations on both lead and account based models

To be an effective team member, you will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Marketing Automation role, minimum 3 year using Marketo
  • Have experience leading or supervising and mentoring a team 
  • Additional experience using Marketing Automation, CRM (Salesforce.com), Web Chat tools (Intercom.io), Account-Based Marketing (Demandbase), Calendar Routing
  • Understand marketing, sales, and business processes and be able to effectively communicate across distributed teams
  • Have a high proficiency with data and a deep understanding of a/b testing frameworks
  • Build strategic cross-functional relationships to support marketing operations that align to business objectives
  • Demonstrate strong project management, analytical, problem solving, communication and time management skills
  • Easily develop strong relationships and work with partners and vendors
  • Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
