Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Inspector to work our overnight shift.
Your Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily quality control floor operations
• Implement and ensure quality control procedures, standards, and specifications are being followed.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, providing training and support to ensure they are proficient in their roles and responsibilities.
• Work with the Quality Manager to ensure our teams coverage meets production’s needs
• Support the Team Lead, Quality Control (Assurance) when needed
• Examine material by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Verify the final work product (statements and letters) with the written instructions to ensure they meet the clients expectations
• Return products for re-work if needed and complete required documentation
• Communicate to operators and supervisors when the product doesn’t match the client's instructions and/or company standards
• Report problems or concerns with quality results with management immediately
• Walking around to different machines to verify the accuracy of jobs
• Cross train in different departments to further develop your skills (postal, shipping, hand table)
• Input data into the production database
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
Your Shift:
- 1st shift: 5:00am - 1:30am, Monday - Friday
You Must Have:
• 3+ year experience in a production and/or quality environment
• Quality orientated with a strong background of operating procedures within a manufacturing environment
• Basic use of MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPointÂ
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Be self-motivated, organized and detailed oriented
• Be able to maintain a calm disposition in stressful and/or tense situations
• Be able to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

Requirements Within This Position:
• Work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
• 6+ month experience in leadership
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience in ISO 9001 standards
The anticipated hourly salary range for this position is $17-$18 per hour. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
