Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the activities within a department of a specific facility and Account Manager. In addition, the Team Lead oversees the daily department production activity and facilitates departmental workflow, while working closely with the Supervisor and/or Manager. The Team Lead can also assist with training and monitoring of staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists with implementations and updating of client policies and procedures.
- At the direction of the Manager, Team Lead may communicate directly with client and/or client personnel on status of requests, disposition of inquiries, etc.
- Assist with coder questions and workflow processes.
- Trains new staff as needed and coaches/counsels' staff with the assistance of the Account Manager.
- Assist with monitoring client Service Level Agreements with the Account Manager.
- Monitor work queues and make sure TAT's are met for coding and QA records.
- Assist with quality analysis auditing as needed.
- Manage and coordinate with AM/SAM's workflow and volumes in assigned clients.
- Other tasks duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Key Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a large focus on Excel
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical, decision making, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal/relationship skills
- Excellent prioritizing and time management skills
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 + years of production experience
Additional Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred
- Previous management and/or team leadership experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Physical demands with activity or condition requiring a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor).
